In total, there are 29 public elementary schools and 14 Roman Catholic elementary schools within the city limits of Burlington. There are seven public high schools and three Catholic high schools with 11 private schools. McMaster University and Charles Sturt University are both located in Burlington as is the Oxford College of Arts, Business and Technology.
