Relocating to King Ontario
King Ontario is bordered by Bathurst Street on the east, a line north of the King Vaughan Road to the south, the Caledon King Townline to the west, and Highway 9 to the north. The majority of King is located in the Oak Ridges Moraine, a pair of large ridges composed of four elevated wedges bounded to the west by the Niagara Escarpment. This ecologically important geological landform in the Mixedwood Plains of south-central Ontario covers about 1900 km² and one of the most significant landforms in southern Ontario.
King or sometimes referred to as King City, is primarily rural but there are several things to do, see, and explore such as the Thornton Bales Conservation Area perfect for nature trails and hiking through the forest. The Country Apple Orchard Farm is a great place to visit each fall. Pine Farms Orchard is also a great location in King and, the historical King Township Museum is a specialty museum showcasing the history of the area. Taken a golf game at Cardinal Golf Club or have fun at Spray Lake Water sports.
King Ontario Schools
Students in King are part of the York Region District School Board and the Catholic school board. The only public secondary school in King is the King City Secondary school serving students in the large geographical area and some adjacent towns. As a private Catholic high school and Seneca College owns a campus located in the southeastern section of King with various college programs.

Because King is more rural, you'll find homes with acreage, farms, and a few new subdivisions with an average price of $2.2 million, typically skewed on the higher side due to large swaths of land and more acreage.
