The Doon Heritage Village is a great way to step back in time and find out what the region was like prior to 1914. This living history villages filled with homes from the area and as you walk around the village you can enjoy the post office, a grocery store, sawmill, harness shop, and fire hall.

Kitchener Schools
Kitchener is part of the Waterloo Region District School Board and boasts over 100 elementary schools with some of the highest-rated schools in the metro area. Kitchener is also home to Conestoga College, Emmanuel Bible College, Heritage College & Seminary, the University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University. There are several secondary schools, private schools and Catholic and French Catholic schools as well.
