Mississauga is home to one of the three campuses of the University of Toronto. It enrolls over 13,000 students and grows at a rate of about 1000 students per year since 2002. Mississauga is served by the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board along with the Conseil scolaire Viamonde, which operates secular Francophone schools, and the Conseil scolaire de district Catholique Centre-Sud, which operates Catholic Francophone schools. These four boards have a total of more than 150 schools. Mississauga also features several specialized programs such as French immersion school, regional arts programs, international business and technology programs, regional enhanced programs at the Glenforest Secondary School, and regional sports programs.
